Neuroinclusion
Really insightful and practical learning through the videos which challenge thinking
Challenges behaviour and misunderstandings and invokes an atmosphere of understanding and better practice to be in a managerial position and having colleagues with ND around you
Very informative, providing a good set of tools to use, explained neurodiversity really well, and highlighted the pitfalls of pre-judgement, assumptiveness and the consequences of not responding to and treating people as individuals
Brilliant facilitator. Great personality, approachable, informative, knowledgeable, encouraging. Liked option to use chat facility for feedback. Relaxed well paced training. Inclusive. Just really really good.

The Business Case...

“There is a strong business case for neuroinclusive workplaces, relating to talent and underuse of skills, but also pursuing equality of outcomes for all is simply the right thing to do. Facing skills shortages, organisations need to think more inclusively about how they recruit and retain talented people. In addition, the business case for EDI has highlighted the importance of ‘diversity of thought’.

When we’re talking about neurodiversity, we’re talking about the fact that people literally think differently. And to realise the benefits of diversity of thought, a neuroinclusive workplace is essential as well as action to ensure equality of opportunity and outcomes for all types of thinkers.”

Proven Results...

Learning Into Action – We have been delivering training programmes to reduce inappropriate workplace behaviours since the company started in 2011. In that time, we’ve had customers from a wide range of sectors, including health, manufacturing, utilities, insurance, fintech, and universities.

We asked delegates in the session what action they now plan to take:

Work on my communication with all people, as those tactics could be a good practice in communicate with all employees as well as the member of the public.
Discuss with employers about the adjustments we could make. Thinking about the environment I assess people in.
To really check my approach for future conversations and use the tools talked about. Also to share what I've learnt with my colleagues. The more aware, the better we will all become.
To bring into reality the 4 steps and how I can improve my managerial actions with an ND optimised practice
Be more mindful generally - including meeting invites and catch ups. My priorities aren't necessarily everyone else's and I should potentially be less selfish and more mindful and aware of how it may implicate others / make them feel.
Actively support colleagues who are exploring their neurodiversity and who have a diagnosis to ask what the barriers are and how we can support with a lot more confidence.
