Ashley started her career as management development trainer for a major insurance company, developing and delivering courses such as Time Management, Coaching Skills and Behavioural Interviewing. She was also responsible for the induction training for every new member of staff. Having retrained as an actor, she has since worked in drama based training – as both the trainer and the actor – working with clients across the public and private sectors, including NHS, National Grid, Skanska, Amateur Swimming Association and Pioneer Housing, delivering courses as varied as Health and Safety, Disaster Management, Effective Teambuilding, with a particular focus on Diversity and Inclusion and Unconscious Bias. With a degree in languages and a customer service focus, communication has always been at the heart of everything Ashley has done and it is an ability to forge a connection with her audience and communicate with them that she brings to the training sessions she delivers. She believes that creating a genuinely safe environment, where people have the confidence to share their experiences and learn from each other is the key to a successful training session and this is what she strives to achieve in every session.
